Division Information for 2024
6U - (2018 / 2019 / 2020)
- up to 11 players on the field playing defense;
- hitting off a Tee;
- bases 45 feet apart;
- must have batting helmet with chinstrap;
- for boys and girls;
- one practice per week or game per week;
- 8 - 10 games during the season;
- plays teams from other centers.
Please note that the NLMBA is planning for two 6U teams for the 2024 season but due to not having enough diamond time through the week, one team will have time through the week and the other will be during a morning on the weekend. If you have a preference, please state your preference under the section - Additional Information in the comment box.
8U - (2016 / 2017)
- up to 10 players on the field playing defense;
- no catchers used coach to get the baseballs;
- hitting off a pitching machine;
- bases 55 feet apart;
- must have batting helmet with chinstrap;
- for boys and girls;
- one practice per week and game per week;
- approx. 10 games during the season;
- plays teams from other centers.
9U - (2015 / 2016)
- up to 10 players on the field playing defense;
- catchers used;
- hitting off a pitching machine;
- bases 65 feet apart;
- must have batting helmet with chinstrap;
- for boys and girls;
- one practice per week and game per week;
- approx. 10 games during the season;
- plays teams from other centers.
11U - (2013 / 2014)
- 9 players on the field playing defense;
- catchers used;
- hitting off live pitching;
- pitchers pitch from 44 feet;
- must follow Arm Care Rules;
- bases 65 feet apart;
- must have batting helmet with chinstrap;
- for boys and girls;
- one practice per week and game per week;
- approx. 10 games during the season;
- plays teams from other centers.
13U - (2011 / 2012)
- 9 players on the field playing defense;
- catchers used;
- hitting off live pitching;
- pitchers pitch from 50 feet;
- must follow Arm Care Rules;
- bases 75 feet apart;
- must have batting helmet with chinstrap;
- for boys and girls;
- one practice per week and game per week;
- approx. 14 games during the season;
- plays teams from other centers.
15U - (2009 / 2010)
- 9 players on the field playing defense;
- catchers used;
- hitting off live pitching;
- pitchers pitch from 60 feet 6 inches;
- must follow Arm Care Rules;
- bases 90 feet apart;
- must have batting helmet with chinstrap;
- for boys and girls;
- one practice per week and game per week;
- approx. 14 games during the season;
- plays teams from other centers.
18U+ - (2006 / 2007 / 2008 - up to four overage players born in 2005)
- 9 players on the field playing defense;
- catchers used;
- hitting off live pitching;
- pitchers pitch from 60 feet 6 inches;
- must follow Arm Care Rules;
- overager's can catch but not able to pitch;
- bases 90 feet apart;
- must have batting helmet with chinstrap;
- for boys and girls;
- one practice per week and game per week;
- approx. 14 games during the season;
- plays teams from other centers.
