Umpire Consolidation Clinic - 11 May 2024
New Lowell Minor Baseball Association will be hosting an Umpire Consolidation Clinic on 11 May 2024 from 9:00 - 11:00 am on Diamond #1 (weather dependant) at the New Lowell Recreation Park. This is primarily for new umpires but is open to all umpires to come out and meet other umpires. Umpire-in-chiefs are welcome to come out and pass on their own personal experiences.
The South Simcoe Region has seen an influx of new umpires both in youth and adults. They are all new umpires and are developing their umpire skills. There will be situations where a play happens, the umpire will need time to process the play prior to making the call. Please be patient while this is happening. Even experienced umpires need to take their time to process the play prior to making a call.
