YSBA - Junior Umpire of the 2023 Season
York Simcoe Baseball Association (YSBA) presented their annual awards for 2023 in Barrie 22 October.

During the award ceremony, YSBA awarded several awards to players, coaches, volunteers and teams. Mr. Matthew Hepburn of the New Lowell Minor Baseball Association (NLMBA) received the YSBA Junior Umpire of the Year Award for the 2023 Season from the YSBA President, Steve Koziel at the Liberty North Event Center. Matthew has been umpiring games for the past three seasons demonstrating an increase confidence and growth. Congratulations Matthew.

The NLMBA would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Don Michel who was awarded the YSBA Senior Umpire of the Year for the 2023 Season. Don was the SSMBA and Midland UIC for the 2023 Season.
