New Lowell Minor Baseball

A group of volunteers with New Lowell Minor Baseball Association came together to raise funds through donations to have a Memorial Bench installed dedicated to Ben Martin at the New Lowell Recreation Park along County Road 9.

The New Lowell Minor Baseball 13U House League Team completed their playoff journey on 17 Aug 2025 in Wasaga Beach during the Playoff Tournament format with a 11-10 walk off win in the Pool B Championship in a spirited highly contested game versus TNT Gold.

This past weekend 8-10 August, seen the 9U SSMBA Playoff Tournament hosted in Angus in very hot conditions. In the end it was TNT and Wasaga Beach, each with a loss facing off for the final game. In the end Wasaga Beach won the well contested game that was tied, runner at third and a walk off hit that scored the runner from third for the win.  In this game, featured some great hits and stellar defense. Both teams making double plays, great catches and put outs on the bases.

The YSBA 10U Rep B Qualifier was held in New Lowell 8 - 10 August. The qualifier featured three teams: Ivy, Orillia and New Lowell. Ivy went through the qualifier undefeated and edged Orillia in the finals 6 - 3 to advance to the Provincials from YSBA.

New Lowell Minor Baseball will be hosting the 10U Rep B YSBA Qualifier from the 8 - 10 August. The qualifier features three teams which are Ivy, Orillia and New Lowell. The winner of the qualifier advances to the provincials.
