A group of volunteers with New Lowell Minor Baseball Association came together to raise funds through donations to have a Memorial Bench installed dedicated to Ben Martin at the New Lowell Recreation Park along County Road 9.
The bench was installed on Tuesday 19 Aug 2025 in the North / West region of Diamond #1 between the diamond and the walking path. Following the completion of the installation, it began to rain on the newly installed bench within the park.
The bench is to commemorate former New Lowell Knight Minor Baseball Player and Minor Baseball Coach, Ben Martin. In June this past year, Ben was posthumously inducted into the Clearview Township Hall of Fame.
The volunteers and the family would like too sincerely thank everyone for their donation and involvement with the installation of the Memorial Bench.
