Improvements to New Lowell Parking Lot - Drive Slow
Over the past couple of weeks the parking lot adjacent to Diamond #1 and Diamond #3 received a significant upgrade to improve the parking conditions at 5212 County Road 9 at the New Lowell Recreation Park.
The parking lot at this location is now larger, smoother and easier to access the diamonds, soccer fields, outdoor rink, playground or for other events. However, please be reminded that when accessing this parking lot, please drive slow and watch out for patrons using the various amenities at the park. During this season the parking lot potentially will be very busy on Tuesday nights with both diamonds and soccer field being in use.
Please be mindful that children and spectators may be walking to and from the parking lot and diamonds, children playing at the playground, not looking for traffic entering and exiting the parking lot. Children can easily pop out from between two parked cars and be in front of an unsuspecting driver, leaving little time to react.
Please drive slow when using this parking lot.
