EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR NLMBA 2024
· Jock or Jill Strap – Strongly recommended for all players – boys and girls – but is a must for pitching and catching position;
· Water Bottle with Name – This is required for games and practices as players should not be sharing water bottles;
· Batting Helmet – This is mandatory for the 2024 season, it is essential for hygiene purposes especially in the hot weather. All levels except midget require a chin strap on the CSA approved batting helmet;
· Gloves – Everyone requires a fielding glove that fits properly on the appropriate hand. NLMBA does not supply these gloves but do supply gloves for the catcher’s position;
· Track Pants – Players should not wear shorts to practices as they may be sliding on the infield surface;
Gray Pants - Each player is required to purchase plain gray pants for games as NLMBA does not provide pants (6U is exempt from purchasing gray pants, players wear track pants for games).
