Ben Martin's Clearview HOF Induction
On 11 June at the Stayner Community Centre, Ben Martin was posthumously inducted into the Clearview Hall of Fame for "Young Leader in Sports Award". The award was presented by Clearview Mayor Doug Measures to Ben's Father - Chris Martin and sister Rosalyn.

His family and friends would describe him as a grandson, son, brother, cousin, nephew and a friend among some of the descriptions. Words others would use Professional, Respectful, Integrity, Loyal, Dedicated, Trustworthy, Mature and Exemplary.

Ben positively represented the community, whether he was a player or a coach, resulting in the association receiving respectful feedback from other centres and parents regarding his overall deportment. Mature beyond his years, striking an organizational balance between working, studies and dedicating time to the team. Ben, 20 years old, passed away on 15 January 2025. His dedication and leadership to the team concept and his teammates was admirable making him deserving to be nominated posthumously for the “Young Leader in Sports Award”
